Thomas Martin,  President

Mr. Martin is the President and founder of ConsultEcon, Inc.  He has over thirty years experience in consulting for a broad range of clients, both nationally and internationally.  Mr. Martin has worked on projects in Mexico, Canada, Spain, Egypt, Japan, Colombia, Aruba, the Bahamas, and many other international destinations.  Mr. Martin directs the operations of the firm and is an active consultant for a wide range of private, non-profit and public clients.  His experience includes economic development, market and strategic planning analysis for visitor attractions, aquariums, science centers and museums, tourism, recreational real estate, heritage sites, and transportation.  He is the author of numerous articles and speaks at national and international conferences and is the co-author of Adaptive Use: Development Economics, Process and Profiles (Urban Land Institute) and The No-Action Alternative (Transportation Research Board, National Research Council).  He holds memberships in many organizations including the Urban Land Institute, American Institute of Certified Planners, American Zoo and Aquarium Association, American Alliance of Museums, and International Economic Development Council.
